Sir Frank Whittle was the Jet Engine inventor. A jet engine is a machine which commonly used for aircraft that are usually used for military or commercial purposes. This Jet engine is a very fast vehicle. Behind the speed of the jet engine, there is a very meritorious person in this discovery. He is Sir Frank Whittle from England who was born on June 1, 1907, in Coventry, England. Sir Frank Whittle invented the jet engine in 1937 and he was an officer at the Royal Air Force.

In the same year, the jet engine had been created and even had been tested at a factory in Germany named Heinkel in March 1937. The designer of the super-fast jet engine was Von Ohain which came from Germany. The jet engine later was also developed by its designer of the first jet engine, Dr. Hans von Ohain. Then in 1930, Sir Frank Whittle filed a patent application widely. He also got the attention and encouragement from the Air Ministry and from the industry.
After Sir Frank Whittle got the support from an investment bank in 1963, Powers Jets was built and Sir Frank Whittle was tasked by the company for a special military task to design and develop his jet engine. Because the first experiment had so many problems, it was necessary to reconstruct it several times. In 1939, the discovery of Sir Frank Whittle was well received by the Air Ministry because he had repaired the machine so t the engine produced with 10 combustion chambers that were done well enough.
Now, Frank Whittle jet engine has been widely used by aircraft either commercial aircraft or fighter aircraft. Sir Frank Whittle, the Jet Engine Inventor is now regarded as one of the most instrumental figures in the world of aviation or spacewalk because of his engine invention.
