John Dalton who discovered the Atomic Theory
Atomic Theory was discovered by John Dalton. There are many definitions of atoms according to experts but generally, atom is smallest particles that arranging becomes an object. In the atomic realm, there are parts called sub atoms which compose of atomic nucleus. In the nucleus, there are proton, neutron, and electrons that surround nucleus.

Understanding Atom
The term Atom is derived from the Greek “Atomos” means that it cannot be cut. According to that definition, atoms are the constituent particles of all very small objects. It is difficult for us to imagine how small the atom is. Each atom has a nucleus consisting of protons, neutrons, as well as electrons that moving rapidly around the nucleus. These electrons are at different energy levels called skins. Each skin has an electron's number of limits. If the electron in the first skin has already limited, the electrons will fill the second skin and so on.
The atomic theory was first described in a philosophical text of Jainism. A century later, a man named Demokritos created a term called atomos which meant invisible. As science progressed, the atomic term of Democritos became a general term in atomic science. A scientist named Robert Boyle made a statement in his book entitled "The Sceptical Chymist". He explained that the world consisted of different combinations of different atoms. This argument contrasted to the classical opinions which explained that the matter just consisted of four elements. They were water, fire, earth, and wind.
Until 1803, a scientist and also a chemist named John Dalton in his book entitled New System of Chemical Philosophy sparked a theory about atoms. His theory was based on the results of his experiments. He claimed that matter consisted of atoms and could not be divided again. Each element consisted atoms with identical properties and masses. The compounds formed when atoms of various elements joined in a fixed composition. From this, it could be concluded that the inventor of the Modern Atom was John Dalton.
Although previously there were people who sparked atoms, John Dalton managed to prove the existence of these atoms through an experiment. So, it could be said that John Dalton was the inventor of modern atomic theory.
